A silent show. Bare hands. Cards, balls and cigarettes appearing from nowhere. Face to Face, performed on the streets of the world.
Diogo Alvares fell in love with magic at the age of twelve, encouraged by his father. Before long the boy was already performing at birthday parties and schools across his native Brazil, the very first stages of a life that would carry his hands around the world.
As a young performer he shared the stage with some of the great names of international illusionism, sharpening a craft built on nothing but skill. At just eighteen he made a bold choice: he took his magic to the street, launching the festival career that would come to define him.
Today Diogo is one of the most widely travelled street magicians alive, bringing his silent show "Face to Face" to the great capitals of the world, from the squares of Europe to the stages of Asia, and even world-famous casinos such as The Venetian in Macau. Every year he sets out on a new world tour, proving that with nothing but agile hands and a deck of cards, wonder needs no words.
A 10 to 30 minute silent show set to music, built entirely on sleight of hand and pure manipulation of ungimmicked objects. Adaptable to street or stage, with 100% audience interaction and plenty of improvisation.
